Reviews for 14 Zimbali Chalets
Very very nice. Loved the private beach, if only it was a swimming beach then it would have been perfect. Five star treatment all round. Very quiet. Enjoyed playing golf.
Great place to vist especially when want to relax. Loved the private beach and pools not crowded at all.
Spectacular views. Beautiful houses and wildlife. Absolutely Love it!
Superb hotel with scenic views and highly attentive staff. The spa is great, the rooms are well furnished and comfortable, and the service is next level. A must visit when you travel to KZN.
Overall the place is beautiful would give it a 4.5 if u want a place away from everything .... few cons cannot leave u doors open as monkeys steal u things, if u visiting the annoyance of calling everytime u get a uber in and out for code, not all roads are listed so if u do get a uber takes a extra 10-20 mins , food is a no from me would recommend eating out but most of the fast food places lacked taste
You cant go wrong with Zimbali. Love it! Love it! Absolute Heaven on earth. I would recommend it anytime and day!
Beautiful. The Dolphin coast is absolutely beautiful. Zimbali has the most beautiful houses and there is wildlife. You wake up to the sound of waves with monkeys walking the streets peacefully. There is Impala being cared for on the resort. The mordenity without encroaching on the environment. You have to see it
Beautiful well decorated place. Safe and secure. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The pool areas are great to relax
Really enjoyed Zimbali. The house we stayed in was stunning and overlooked tropical valleys with no other houses in our view. Very private and lovely peace and quiet. The resort swimming pool area was lovely to relax at with lovely views of the ocean. The only negative was that is was quite a bit of a mission if you have guests visiting to get them signed in. So literally impossible to get an uber to your door.
Lush tropical estate with beautiful views from elevated properties, although most sections & complexes are too congestly built up obscuring views & homes look directly into each other's living areas as well as bedrooms so offers no privacy.
Good public pool access area in Zimbali at valley of the pools. Good service from the restaurant with excellent value for money options on the menu.
Zimbali is the ultimate paradise. It has tropical birds, adorable troops of monkeys, buck, Fish Eagles which fly over the beach as you catch a tan and lush greenery. To top it off, you're right by the sea and a 5-star golf course. Poolside cafs and pristine blue swimming pools looking out to sea ensures your holiday is as refreshing as this beautiful resort. It's arguably one of the safest places to be too, with strict speed restrictions and entry requirements you're only allowed into the resort if you are a guest, home owner or visiting the amenities for the day.
A spectacular setting on the north coast of KwaZulu-Natal. We really enjoyed our short stay. Pools are amazing so is the surrounding nature.
The resort is luxurious. If you just want to sit around or occasionally play some sports it's great but you won't get to see much of Africa. If you're only visiting and you're from another continent make sure to spend some time somewhat else because this feels really artificial. It's like living in a police state.
"Home away from home"
We had a lovely stay and we really enjoyed our week here. We had everything we needed and felt that all our needs were catered for. Lots of space and plenty of room so no one got in the way of one another. Would definitely make use of the chalets again.
