Apollo de Karoo Tented Camp is located in the Lower Karoo near the Tankwa National Park and Sutherland. The accommodation is ideal for a family or group of friends who want to escape to the Karoo.
This tent camp offers six permanent tents that can accommodate two guests each. The tents are cool in summer and warm in winter. Each tent has two single beds. The tents use the bathroom with three showers with hot water gas geysers and three flush toilets. Bed linen and towels are provided.
The tents share a communal bathroom & kitchen equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, cutlery, crockery and a dining table with seating for 12. There is Wi-Fi and a pool table. Braai packs are available only to motorbikers on request and guests can purchase wood.
There are undercover braai facilities and a fire pit. Guests must please be aware of their surroundings, as this area is home to Cape Cobra and padder.
The area is ideal for guests who enjoy jogging, hiking, mountain biking or relaxing in the Karoo.
