The last time I was there was in 1988 and it was called Crawfords Caverns. Lovely place even back then. Just bloody expensive back then and even more now.

Crawford's has the best staff ever. Besides it being the most beautiful place on earth, it is also the most welcoming.

Very well worth a visit. Great setting with excellent restaurant. Enjoy a stunning view of an awesome beach that is ideal for swimming surfing and fishing. Also has a river a short walk away where a tranquil canoe paddle can be enjoyed. The chalets between the trees are spacious with good quality bedding and notably well maintained. A must to stay at when visiting the area.

Crawfords is the sort of place you don't want to review because you want to keep it all to yourself, but I must as it is wonderful. The views and the location are second to none, we treated ourselves to the honey-moon room which surpassed expectations. The staff are great and super helpful, helping us to arrange a game drive and spa visit. I will say that the dinner each night was a little samey, but beyond that Crawfords is fantastic and we will be back.

One of my favourite places in the Eastern Cape, it's a win for the whole family. They serve amazing food, there's also a kiddies menu- it was a hit with my toddler. Great staff and the hosts are lovely.

"No nonsense wooden cabin"

Chintsa is the most wonderful place along the Wild Coast and Arendsnes lets one experience a bit of the wildness and wonder of this extraordinary place with a log cabin ambience. Very close to the beach and lagoon, all amenities simple but clean and functional.

"Not even worth the one star rating"

The accommodation is extremely rundown and hasn't been maintained. I will mostly certainly not recommend it to anyone ever!
