Reviews for Arendsnes
The last time I was there was in 1988 and it was called Crawfords Caverns. Lovely place even back then. Just bloody expensive back then and even more now.
It was fantastic. My friend had a party there. The view and the place in general was awesome
Crawford's has the best staff ever. Besides it being the most beautiful place on earth, it is also the most welcoming.
Fantastic w end!!! Awesome facilities. My kids had a blast! The staff is seriously jacked!
The staff are so friendly, make you feel like family. The most wonderful weekend, filled with long walks, good laughs and the best food.
Food was amazing. Staff super friendly
Very well worth a visit. Great setting with excellent restaurant. Enjoy a stunning view of an awesome beach that is ideal for swimming surfing and fishing. Also has a river a short walk away where a tranquil canoe paddle can be enjoyed. The chalets between the trees are spacious with good quality bedding and notably well maintained. A must to stay at when visiting the area.
Our family loves staying at Crawfords Beach Lodge. Great food, lovely accommodation and beautiful beach. This place is a real gem!
Beautiful setting. Pleasant staff. Good food. Best of all comfy bed with white linens
We stayed at Crawfords Beach lodge on the weekend of the 23 March 2018 It was an amazing experience, The staff was so friendly and helpful. It is really a precious piece of paradise.
Crawfords is the sort of place you don't want to review because you want to keep it all to yourself, but I must as it is wonderful. The views and the location are second to none, we treated ourselves to the honey-moon room which surpassed expectations. The staff are great and super helpful, helping us to arrange a game drive and spa visit. I will say that the dinner each night was a little samey, but beyond that Crawfords is fantastic and we will be back.
Great food and accomodation, owners always willing to please, Just a very relaxed enviroment! Love it!@
One of my favourite places in the Eastern Cape, it's a win for the whole family. They serve amazing food, there's also a kiddies menu- it was a hit with my toddler. Great staff and the hosts are lovely.
Cosy, relaxing beach accommodation. Good variation of food. Friendly and accommodating staff. Wellness Centre and various activities. Kids friendly with own kids club. Owner managed.
"No nonsense wooden cabin"
Chintsa is the most wonderful place along the Wild Coast and Arendsnes lets one experience a bit of the wildness and wonder of this extraordinary place with a log cabin ambience. Very close to the beach and lagoon, all amenities simple but clean and functional.
"Not even worth the one star rating"
The accommodation is extremely rundown and hasn't been maintained. I will mostly certainly not recommend it to anyone ever!
