Reviews for Benlize Lodge
Was ok not bad
Fair price, great view.. Awesome experience
"Quiet space to rest."
Unfortunately, not all was so great. Although we did rest properly and we enjoyed the Koraalboom chalet, we had some issues. We got to the lodge and we had to sit in the sun outside the gate for more than an hour as no one answered their phones. Only after we screamed and shouted at staff walking inside, did we get help and the office number does not even exist. The beds are not for people with back problems. So is the living room couches. Very quiet and does help to rest properly. The other issue was that visitors used the lapa but took over the whole swimming pool area and we could not swim for two days. Toys and pool toys were all over inside the pool. Drinking and load music for three days straight. If you intent to go there. Rather make sure you have a 4x4. The road did same damage to my car.
Good facilitied, great view
Amazing views, great accommodation friendly service. Tough drive up though
Amazing Views, Braai facilities and secluded location, ideal for a weekend getaway for a group of friends, several bars are close by but you can bring your own friends, cooler box and just relax with the best views.Accommodation is traditional Afrikaans style.
"The fresh air and peace and quiet up there"
All we would like to see changed: Are the cabinets space for groceries for the time you spent there and shrubs that block the view of the lake for the chalets.
