The four Black Oystercatcher Cottages are beautifully furnished with king-size beds or two single beds and private bathrooms. Each cottage has an equipped kitchenette. And for the chilly winter months two cottages feature an inside fireplace in the lounge area. Step outside onto a patio (with an expansive view) and make use of the braai area. Reviews for Black Oystercatcher Cottages
Unreal restaurant and wine! Cutest dogs and a beautiful venue!
Good food, generous helping, nice vibe
We had a lovely lunch in a large spacious room with two roaring fires. The staff was friendly & knowledgable about their wines. We will definately be back when we in the area again
Craft beer tasting, great atmosphere and excellent music.
Arranged a very special 60th birthday party at The Black Oystercatcher. The staff were very helpful and cordial especially Salmon who helped me with all the arrangements. The food was excellent (recommend the steak pan) as was the wine and deserts. Wonderful atmosphere and exceptional service. Would recommend this restaurant again and again!
This is well worthwhile. The wines are great with a premium wine list that you can't buy anywhere else but the farm or South Africa. If you are so inclined, you are able to fly in and land at their airstrip. The restaurant is great. The hamburgers are delicious and the platter for one looks great. The beer tasting is great too.
Lekker food and fun setting on wine farm. Wide open spaces and they have added accommodation should you wish to stay
Attended the Black Oystercatcher Festival. Felt it was too pricey for what you get. Food was good but also pricey. Nice vibe and good music. Well organized.
Had a great time at the Black Oystercatcher jazz festival day, yesterday. Great wine, great atmosphere and although it was busy the staff managed to keep up with the pace, kept a smile on all their faces and served everyone well. Food was great! Great place
A very lovely establishment in the heart of the country side. It offers delicious, reasonably price food and great wine and craft beer options (brewed at the wine farm). Would definitely recommend having lunch, dinner or a wine tasting if you're passing through the area.
Beautiful venue with freshly prepared food with produce from their own garden!!! Relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy your wine and craft beer made on the premises. Lovely, will definitely visit again.
"Very comfortable stay"
We only spent one night at Black Oyster Cottages, but it was such a lovely night. The room is very comfortable and has all amenities. Someone has really considered all you would need for a few nights, especially in terms of kitchen items. The cottage was clean and tidy and the reception staff very friendly. The cottage is cosy with a fire inside, which will be the perfect place for a Winter getaway. We will definitely be visiting again.
Amazing. Really enjoyed our one night stay there. Maybe a two plate stove wouldn't be a bad idea although the electric frying pan worked for us that night. Hopefully we will be back one day
