Reviews for Bushwhacked
A lovely quiet venue on the edge of Barberton. Rustic in appearance & experience. Well priced. Various accommodation choices.
The most beautiful place in Barberton to stay at. The owners are the friendliest people and make you feel so welcome. I will definitely be visiting again.
Great place to stay, it's a self catterd place, the rooms are very clean, the house I very well equipped, owners are very friendly and helpful we enjoyed every minute of our stay
What an absolute hidden gem! We drove through the Bulembu border from Swaziland and decided to rest our weary travel bones in Barberton for a night before continuing on to Joburg. Here we though we'd just find a little hole in the wall place for the night, but low and behold we found this magical mountain paradise! Highly recommend the separate cottage if you're more than two people.
Great experience. We used the family chalet, which was very practical with a fully equipped kitchen and a cherry on top a CD player. Very friendly owner, always willing to assist the guests - only a phone call away.
This place was a recommendation in lonely planet (2017) and a real positive surprise for us. The owner is a really nice guy, the four of us had a house for ourself with a good price, very clean, great beds, a full equipped kitchen and the location itself was beautiful! We didn't expect all theses things and spontaneously decided to stay a night longer. Absolutely worth it and also good for families.
Best place to be service is superb and lovey
Amazing. Would definitely visit again. Quite with a stunning view.
Clean, reasonable accommodation in a beautiful setting. Perfect stop over to kruger.
Beautiful house in a beautiful location and excellent value for money. The hosts are lovely people and have made it a very homely place to stay in, and have time for you, as well as great advice for what to do in the area, including Swaziland (Malolotja is wonderful). The room I stayed in was huge with very comfortable antique furniture and everything is clean and works.
"weekend of 6-9 August 2015"
We stayed at Skips shack. The place is clean and we had a pleasant stay. It was quite difficult to find his place. But he phoned us and gave us directions.
We spent two nights at Bushwacked and it was lovely. So close to town yet far enough to enjoy total peace and quiet. Pete told us about hikes and we spent both mornings exploring the old mine shaft and tunnel. Definitely for adventure seekers.
