Reviews for Die Tuishuise
"The staff were delightful and the cottage was really quaint."
I loved the shabby chic feel of the cottage
"Old-world Charm "
A blast from the past, and if you enjoy history, you have to experience the Victoria Hotel and its old-world charm firsthand. Walk the halls and step back in time. Sit in the diningroom and let Amos and his team present their famous buffet dinner. Don't be in a hurry.... savour each moment. It is so unique that you have to take your time in making lasting memories.
The food was excellent and the atmosphere great in this very old hotel. The service was impecable. I hope that the hotel will be serviced and kept for many years to come and not be left to deteriorate. Our experience was great and we loved the antiques.
I give the 5 stars. Accommodation fabulous and they assisted me to get a sick tourist to the doctor. Thanks Sandra for keeping our memories alive!!
Old traditional atmosphere with very interesting antique sorroundings. Very warm romantic place to take your loved one tranquil and relaxing. Good selection of menu with buffet sometimes depending on your asking about it before booking or reserving your table
My Word! Where do I start!? The Breakfast! It was absolutely the best I've had at a Hotel yet. The Suites are not normal old units like any other - It's old Time Victorian Era Houses! They are styled to perfection and you truly feel like the upper echelons of Royalty from yesteryear when inside. The Beds are the best and having a little fire burning at a fireplace was the most comfortable warmth! Wow! This is a Super-Reccomend! THE STAFF! Wow The Staff are just phenomenal ; they really take pride in their work and it truly shows! A big huge massive part of Cradock! I will return there whenever close by.
Well appointed, clean and comfortable, utterly charming. We've had a wonderful weekend! Lisa and her staff are warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.
Different experience....a Step back in time. Our home away from home. Best breakfast and a lovely restaurant. Very friendly staff. Love the place.
One of the few decent legacy hotels still in business. Dining room with loads of atmosphere. Book a room away from the main road. The noise of the trucks keeps you awake at night.
Great service. Good food. Comfortable stay.
It is a very nice and safe place. We got a whole house, just for one night! The car is safely parked behind the hotel. Very comfortable and safe feeling as well.
I've worked here for 2 years and the owners are wonderful people. They do a wonderful job and go out of there way to satisfy every single ones needs.
Awesome staff, awesome houses, awesome dinner, awesome breakfast. Thank you thank you thank you! Wish we could have stayed longer, Lisa and Sandra lovely place you have in Cradock
Lovely well restored 1848 hotel. Good food at reasonable rates. Recommended
