Well priced and food are good quality
This is home away from home. The staff members a friendly and efficient. The guy who works there I forgot his name, he's the best for the establishment. He's the reason I keep using the place and recommending it to my colleagues. You are the best bro! Will update the post as soon as I have his name. Warm personality, customer service in check• • • • •
We had a lovely Sunday BREAKFAST @ the DUKE this morning. Excellent Service. Thank you Carmen for your service.
If you are tired of visiting the same restaurant, you can consider visiting The Duke. It was not busy, the service was OK and the food was OK
Loved it there! Staff friendly and place is beautiful
What a awesome time had at the Duke of Bedford. Great food and hospitality!! See you in September for our Big day :)
Favourite accommodation in Eastern Cape so far! The food is on another level and the rooms are beautiful. Some of the staff could do better regarding hospitality and friendliness but I feel that it shouldn't reflect badly on the institution. Definitely a must.
Very nice place, a real gem in Bedford. Service and food is lacking a bit. We ordered 4 fillet steaks and none of them was cooked the way we asked. This is a bit of a shock considering it's a predominantly cattle farming community that is very picky about their meat.
Our bedroom and separate bathroom [shower, bath, loo and basin] was spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had dinners and breakfasts in the Inn and these were well prepared and presented. The Inn is being refurbished and I hope that some of the old "character" is retained in the process [old photos and memoribilia]. The location is a bit dodgy with high noise levels in the main street at times [we were in a street side room], so if noise worries you, select a room at the back. Very good value for money and recommended.
We spent one night at the beautiful newly renovated Duke of Bedford Inn. The whole experience exceeded our expectations by far! The staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms are superbly finished and very comfortable. The ladies lounge was a lovely spot to sit and relax with a cup of coffee after visiting the beautiful village Rosarium. Breakfast was wholesome and tasty and a good start to our day of visiting beautiful gardens during the Bedford Garden Show. Will definitely be back again next year. Highly recommended!!
