Reviews for Eagles Nest Chalets
The place is near Kruger national park and its peaceful as you do not hear any car sounds from the house... our view from unit 4 was amazing...it can use a little TLC with fresh paint
Great hosts and a very nice place to relax
Lovely staff, great management, peacful plot.Rooms need a revamp. Very dated from bathroom down to teaspoon. In need a modern touch on cosmetics. It must be equivalent to the booking money but the paint work is a good start, so please carry on to the rest of the chalets.Thank you for the warm welcome Eagles nest.
Top service, the lady in charge was really helpful, I will not mind staying there again, I really felt welcomed
"Our visit to the Kruger National Park"
Really enjoyed our stay - comfortable, reasonably priced and the perfect base for exploring the Kruger National Park and all the other natural attractions in the area. Enjoyed all the Dstv sports channels for the Soccer World Cup and Wimbledon!
After a very hectic day Saturday and not having a place to sleep on Saturday evening, we were welcomed by Eagle's nest without prior booking. Everything was clean and ready as if we booked in advance. This is a beautiful, hart warming, value for money place to stay in Hazyview.
Our possessions were stolen there by cleaning staff and the management denied that. The cleaners are unfriendly knocks on the doors with moody faces n wants to clean even if u tell them u still busy. I will never set my foot there ever again. Wasted my money
Friendly Manager was great. the rooms however are a bit dated and we felt the prices was a bit steep for the offering. however everything was clean and well kept
The place is quite creating the perfect sanctuary for a well deserved break. The stuff members are very nice and helpful.
Nice place with a lovely pool and nestled in between groves of fruit trees. Close enough to Hazyview for when you need to get groceries or find a place to eat.
" OUR EXPERIENCE"
Both the lady in reception and Dennis were extremely friendly and helpful. The bedroom reading lights were switched on and towels folded on the bed with a fresh leaf and flower on each. Very welcoming. The fridge was switched to 7 and I thought it might freeze our food so turned it down whereupon it defrosted and there was water all over the kitchen floor. The carports were at one end of the row of cottages and we were in No. 8 which meant alot of walking back and forth carrying our things. The cottage needs to be painted. There was no chopping board or drying dish cloth. The tv is very tiny so hard to see. The cold tap in the bath would not switch off easily. Unfortunately the sand road leading to Eagles Nest is in very poor condition.
It is a lovely family friendly place. The staff including management went beyond their duties to ensure that we had a great vacation. It was much appreciated.
Friendly staff and amazing views
Good clean rooms, friendly hosts. Self catering. I'd stay here again.
We stayed at eagles nest for 4 days in october and it was great. The new manager Dirk and his wife Adel went out of their way to make the stay plessant. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food and atmospher was amazing. Thank you for your friendly hospitality. Will defnitly be back.
