Reviews for Airport Inn B&B and Emerald Guest House
Did not felt like a guest...just another person paying.
Stay clear. During winter you will be cold. Heaters don't work and they promise to give you portable one. After you check in and pay however, the heaters do not exist or they say they can't find any. Wi Fi never works. They claim its being upgraded. Place looks like a prison. Whatever they put out for breakfast is gone in no time.. Pay extra and stay away from this mess.
Convenient typical guest lodge close to the airport, Large enough rooms with DStv but limited channels.
"A quiet place to rest"
Being close to the airport yet the opposite environment. The gardens offer a great respite. WiFi reception is a bit unreliable in some areas. Very good value.
Rooms neat but old. Breakfast is adequate. All in all a good place to stay while in town for an overnight stay.

Not recommended. My stay started out good, but unfortunately got worse over time. The staff were friendly but entirely unhelpful each time I enquired about a service that was advertised at their reception. The room was neat but the shower especially was very dirty, forcing me to clean out the drain myself before I could use it. The room also included some kind of heating system that made strange noises the whole night through making it challenging to sleep. The food from the resturant tasted good but was overpriced for what you get. I could get a better meal at the KFC just up the road for less money. Finally, the lack of any hand soap in the room was disappointing. The one good point is that it's cheaper than a lot of other guesthouses in the area. However, personally I'd rather pay slightly more for a better experience.
Comfortable and close to airport with shuttle services. People are very friendly and accommodating.
At least a warm cup of coffee in the morning, leaving with the first shuttle. That will already make a difference! Those complaining, you get what you pay for. The pictures were taken, when the place opened, for the first time
I am totally disgusted with this B&B. They were supposed to collect me from the airport after midnight when I flew back to SA. Two days before my arrival, I still phoned and confirmed with the owner / manager. Upon my arrival, there was nobody to collect me. I subsequently had to take a taxi to take me there. They didn't even bother to open the gate and let me in. The taxi driver then took me to a very very nice guesthouse (Blue Mange Guesthouse). The owners there were extremely friendly and helpful! NEVER again Aiport Inn B&B.
Bad. 1st got stuffed in mould room. Upgrade got a room with no aircon . Wifi dont work. No TV as they changing block by block. Staff just say sorry. Very bad. It is expensive for a tiny room with nothing as advettised. Very badWe had to phone as they dont answer the gate. Really disgusting
"Friendly and helpfull staff"
Good value for money
Great location relative to the Airport. Shuttle included. Serves 3 meals (breakfast included). Has two gates to be collected from by uber when you need to get to festival mall. Several different room types.
Nice place. Value for money. Friendly staff. Reliable airport shuttle. Transport to shopping mall.
Close to the air port. Convenient to drop in overnight. Well priced good hospitality. They just need to sort out the showers that don't have hot water, but are perfect for those hot summer nights. Place needs a bit of an up grade, as it's aging a bit.
