Reviews for Ocean Breeze Hotel Privately Owned Suite
Amazing views and waking up to the sound of the ocean best thing ever
Not bad not great love the intimate design of the rooms very different and unique... Love the views.
Love the Netflix option. It different with a great variety. Hotel needs a bit of work. But the rooms are very neatly kept and up to date. Milk/cream capsules will be nice instead of powder.
Great venue for functions and conferences as it has all the amenities needed an an awesome sea view to boot. Great food spoiled for choice and peaceful setting
Good service. Willingness to help whenever needed. Warm welcome and as a guest felt well looked after throughout the stay. Will recommend and go again!
You must make enquiries for TrueGrace through Travelground and Lekkerslaap. Value for money. Welcome amenities, espresso coffee facilities and even a milk frother. Love it. Will definitely book again
View marvelous. Neat and clean. Friendly service.
There bathrooms were clean but no toilet paper. They need maintenance done - their interlocking doors needs attention.Front staff are friendly and helpful.
I am actually very disappointed, not in the Sea Breeze Hotel but in the privately owned room that I was in(room 507). First the room is separated from the next room(room 508) by a dividing door. You can actually hear what is going on in the next room. Secondly the light when entering the room does not work. The plaster on the ceiling where it was patched is falling all over the floor. When entering the room it was obvious that it was not cleaned properly. The en-suite bathroom does not have a window only a small air extractor. When we complained to the agent we booked the room from for not giving us proper information about the state of the room, she said it could not be helped. One plus point: The view is very nice. I definitely will not recommend booking from private owners in this Hotel. Rather book rooms from the hotel itself, maybe they are in better condition.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had to move after night one due to our lights and geyser failing during the early morning hours and no technicians being available. The first room was modern and well equipped, the new room was bigger which was ideal for the little one with a seperate bedroom. Both rooms had fantastic views. Their are two restaurants in the building, one a popular seafood chain, the other part of the hotel. Parking is in a parking garage in the basement, safe and secure. Wifi prices are reasonable although foreigners will find it expensive as most hotels abroad offer free wifi. The beach is literally a stones throw from the hotel, just cross the street
Beautiful Views ,waking up to the sound of the ocean and the staff was so warm and friendly
Dirty old and outdated. Give this one a miss. You are better off sleeping at a back packers or in your car. Mouldy bathroom and window sills. It's really a pathetic hotel.
Ok overall experience at the hotel. It's old and in need of a makeover. Rooms have old finishing and fittings. The breakfast is very standard and unspectacular. The chefs don't really cater for special requests, and mainly serve up exactly what's on the menu. Our group seriously considered getting breakfast elsewhere. Coffee is good through. It's an ok place to stay on the Strand. Excellent access to the beach for the morning run. Good reasonably priced Thai massage service at the hotel. I've had a table and chairs in my patio area, however, my friends didn't.
Best location with view over the ocean towards Gordon'sbay. People are helpful and friendly. Rooms neat and linen fresh. Enjoyed our stay at: One Fine Stay. They have the 2nd floor of the hotel.
"My company i had and the view"
The television played black and white and the room was alot smaller than expected. Also it took me a while to get the key as the agent did not communicate to reception.
"So much potential, needs LOTS of TLC"
Ideal location in Strand, with very good potential, old hotel interior needs some serious revamp. Only 1 lift working in building, and does not even go down to basementparking level.Room needs major revamp.Old and worn furnishing & utensils. Bathroom, covered in mould growth on tiles around bath. Atin excess of R1000/night for self catering, very much overpriced for what's on offer.
