Reviews for Falls Guest House Augrabies Falls
The apartments, outbuildings and gardens are clean and immaculately maintained. The staff were most friendly and helpful. The breakfasts served were delicious. If you are looking for accommodation close to the Augrabies waterfalls then this is the place of choice.
Pity they no longer serve dinner. Had a great fillet steak there on my previous stay
The Falls Guest House is a place for every one to visit. Beautiful farm with beautiful and nice and clean chalets. The biggest need there is no humanity from the owner side. We visit for the first time and she didn't great so why should she smile.
Lovely place to visit. Beautiful rooms. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.
New place. Not to be recommended. It is empty and clearly unpopular and for what it offers too expensive. Everything you add, eg breakfast is extra. Aircon in my room where old and noisy. It seems to be much older that the building, I am not sure. You car can be parked in the shade that is provided for this purpose. Security is null and void in a country where violence and crime is at the order of the day. Staff is stiff, unfriendly and unhelpfull. I mean, I had hop replacement a few weeks prior to my visit here and is still walking with a painfull limp. While I was strugling to get my baggage from my caf to my room the young man who was showing me my room was standing looking at my struggle with folded arms. Shucks, I mean I am more than twice his age. Complains with the owner did not help and I got a brander from the lady owner over the phone.I moved out immediately and found a new place fo stay. Heaven on earth at the Vergelegen Bed & Breakfast.
Very nice place. Well kept. Very near Augrabies Falls.
We only stayed here for one night but were pleasantly surprised by the Falls Guest House. The staff were very friendly and pleasant, it was a very welcoming environment. We were in a family unit that had a lovely bath. The entire unit was very clean, it had more than enough towels and toiletries. It's in a good location as it is directly opposite Augrabies Falls National Park. There was a wooden jungle gym, trampoline and big chess set that my son thoroughly enjoyed. Great breakfast, really good buffet with various cereals and lovely fruit. All in all, it was a pleasant and peaceful stay. I would definitely recommend this place, it feels like a home away from home. :)
Beautiful surroundings and very friendly staff. The breakfast was superb!
From reception to beautiful clean luxury rooms and breakfast we were impressed. A must sleep over when visiting Augrabies Falls. Will forsure return.
I have enjoyed the stay of two nights in the guest room made available by Mr and Mrs Burger Du Plessis. Their company was interesting and informative.
