Reviews for Graskop Holiday Resort
Love it here.. The place is a good place for family outing or friends reunion.. Lots of activities..
It is a nice place with resting places and swimming pools and they are boats
Do not believe a word from what is written. We ordered through an order website. We arrived at the place in time and there was no one at reception. We called the manager who refused to confirm a room claiming there was no order. The representative of the service of the reservation site was not successful eitherHaving no choice, we paid a full price. The room was awful. Without towels, even though we asked, everything is dirty, blood marks on the sheets and blankets, only cold water. Holes in the ceiling. Just stay away. The worst that could be
A dirty and really unpleasnt place. The guy at the reception was not helpful at all and the girl was really rude. They werent reliable at all. The room was dirty, no hot water or towels. Didnt want to give us a receipt at first because "she didnt know how to operate the computer". I would have given this place ZERO stars if it was an option. Stay away at all costs
Dont even try. Availability means nothing here. They double book and make it your problem One star is still too high as a rating.
Never ever go to this place. Horrible service..no lights.. unhygienic..
On a scale of 1-5 an 5 being the highest I would give it a zero. Safari now advertised that location has tv and wifi. When we got there the room did not have a fridge. We had to wait for about an hour for a fridge. The place did not have a tv, let alone DSTV and wifi was only at reception. When we complained we were told that Safarinow is falsely advertising and that theres nothing they can do about it. With that said I will not be making any bookings via Safari now. The service at Graskop was horrible.
Beautiful surroundings. Place was run down for many years. Concerted effort to rebuild and maintain. Also the venue for the wonderful free form festival of music and arts every year.
"no good to report"
bathroom - water leak.
The staff was wonderful ,but the place was k@k will never go back there every
This is the most dangerous resort I've ever come across, we were robbed at gun point all our belongings were taken by the thugs in short our vacation was ruined. The owner was never seen until today we never heard from him/her.The doors are not in good condition it's easy for a person to come in, we didn't have hot water for bathing, there's no security only visibility of police at the gate but inside the resort dololo. It's a nice place if taken care of but for now I wouldn't recommend it to anybody, actually it's stay at your own risk.
Very disappointing! My heart goes out to the workers who haven't been paid in months. Facility is run down and had not had any electricity or water in days. We found this venue in search of hike and honestly would ask that the current owner be investigated. The infamous jock of the bushveld hike of a R15 conservation fee was not done as we feared for our safety knowing what was going on at the premise and further to that, no effort made to mark the route.A terrible place of which has such potential.
Absolutely shocking. NOT fit for any standard the place should be shut down. I was promised a refund and still waiting...
Very run down, difficult to get hold of anyone. Resort in a real state of disrepair.Staff on site tried to help out where they could.
