We had a wonderful experience at inkwenkwezi. The staff was so nice and kind to us,I would have recommend it to other people.
Best gaming experience by far! Quad-biking among the animals through rough terrain was unforgettable!
The oxtail is lovely. Served on rice along with spinach, mushrooms and feta cheese, green beans and mielies. Yummy!
sociable venue with good food.. staff can be more approachable and friendly
Lots and lots of lovely homecooked food. A beautiful venue and friendly staff
Queuing for food put me off. I wish they could come up with another plan. Their buffet is Excellent!
Spent two fantastic days and nights here in their Valley camp accommodation. Our ranger Byron was superb and fount of knowledge! We experienced 3 game drives and the Elephant walk and the full menu of wildlife on offer and close quarters providing wonderful photo opportunities. We were VERY well fed and looked after beautifully and enjoyed meeting some fantastic people. Would highly recommend.
Positives: Great place to visit just outside of East London with an opportunity to see the Big 5 and interact with elephants. We stayed over in their luxury tents and thoroughly enjoyed the bush settings. Great meals to be enjoyed at Bush lodge. Let downs: Trip can be made or broken by which game ranger you recieve.
Really great Experience. Treated guest from China to a Game drive, they had an extremely great time. Game driver host was very knowledgeable shared some great facts about our very own local animals I would recommend this to anyone. Best advice is to either take late afternoon drive when it's not so hot more animals come out.
The rooms was nice and we enjoyed our stay. Would look them up whenever we're in the area again.
"A family gathering"
After seven visits to South Africa we feel that we are more visitors than tourists and know how things are done. This year we gave the guys at the Ink a go. It is hard to qualify Ink against some of the more game rich and popular reserves, as this one stands out for the rare, "What do you guys want to do today?" approach.Spot the difference: "Wake up it's time for your drive..and on the left is a Kudu" and "Do you guys want to go for a morning game drive or quad bike ride or do a trip on the horses?. Your call." Now I have to stop here and quickly state that the the accommodation, tick, catering, tick, location and type of eating and merry making areas, big tick. Special mention to Rodger (the Afrikaans poker face game driver that I will never play cards against). He kept everyone in fits of laughter and stitched everything together. I give him 5 big stars for the way he made two locals, two local goat farmers, and two Aussies feel like one family for the entire time we were there. Back to the venue. If you wanted to fall off cliffs with ropes or paddle in little boats, that option is available, as well as East London being close enough to pop in and visit if required. Now for the special stuff. They have about 10 white lions and cubs and three cheetahs that you can pet, make purr and get your picture taken with!So why not 5 instead of 4 stars? If the rating was for the fun and laughter then it was a great 5! The only reason for the slight mark down was because of the difference between large scale free roaming game reserves further north and the Ink. However, to qualify that statement, you can't have that many white lions roaming free and enjoy all the other activities that this place provides. See you next year.
