Reviews for Kestell Hotel
Historical Hotel. Beautiful atmosphere. Great pub. Andy the manger makes you feel very welcome. If you want to experience a local feel for Kestell this is the place to go.We had a fantastic time.
I booked last month, as you can imagine it was freezing, but the place has no heaters. Only hot water bottles. No tv in the rooms, no wi-fi. Bt Andy is friendly and helpful. But he can only do so much with such limited resources.
When you cannot find a stop
Old man needs someone to help but rooms are neat. Decorating could do with a little revamp.
We did not stay at Kestell Hotel. It was disgusting. The photo tells a whole other story. First of all, there was only a shower in the room. One has to go outside the room to the toilet. I tried to call, but your offices were closed already. I found 1000x better accommodation in Betlehem for a R100 more.I will also never book through Safari.com again.I am going to try and get a refund as well.Elsa Kotze
Old establishment but the people are very hospitable and caring.
"Trip back in time"
Old hotel steeped in history. Comfortable accommodation and home cooked dinner was most enjoyable
Best antique place to stay and visit.
Really worth staying at, specifically for backpackers with a slight bigger budget. Beautiful country side.
Very nice place did enjoy my visit
Had a awesome weekend, food was fantastic, friendliest people ever, such a fantastic experience. Went to my little Africa, about one kilometer from the hotel, you can actually rub the lions, costs R20 per person, so cool a must do bucket list experience
Cosy, old style hotel. Very clean rooms and friendly service.
