Reviews for Kiaat Bungalows
Dit bly een van die beste karavaan parke. Netjies en gasvry
We made use of the camping facilities, and absolutely loved it. Very neat and tidy, wonderfull setting and well managed. Lovely ablution and washing facilities. Very highly recommended. Would have loved to stay longer. Nice meeting the owner in person.
What a lovely place to stay, a thoughtfully laid out camp site and spotlessly clean. This one is a keeper, we'll definitely be back
What a fantabulous quiet, cool and very nice place. Good for honeymoon, or if you just want a secluded place, just you and yourself, or just you and God. No one to bother you. Its an amazing self catering place. Awesome hospitality for the staff. Free WiFi if provided. Its just nice. Thatch clean rooms far apart from each other. Very beautiful garden, with a very good swimming pool. I would recmend it to anyone who likes quiet places.
Super hospitality and lovely accomodation!
Extremely kind and caring owners. Located within a short hiking distance of the Sabie River. I took a boys group from church to Kiaat Bungalows. They loved the pool and the wide open areas. There are plenty of camping sites. There are also a couple of nice rondavels and a cottage and some other rooms. The ablutions are kept very well.
Excellent camping, very neat ablution, which is kept clean all the time. Camping sites have lush lawn, each have their own braai and wood is supplied on a daily basis.
What an awesome experience, camp site and ablutions extremely clean, and the best,, only 15mn away from Kruger.
Clean and well kept with friendly staff and well worth the stay, will go back again soon!
Great private camping with green grass on the stands and only 8km from the entrance to the Kruger national park. Not much to do at the camp it self. Safe and secure.
The camp experience was great! The owners were very helpful and very friendly, the ablution blocks were exceptionally clean and very well look after with even some hand soaps and creams...
Beautiful surroundings, immaculately kept grounds and ablution facilities. Friendly owner and great value for money. Friendly dogs who come to visit from time to time.
If it was possible the give them zero starts I would definitely do it. Don't get near this place.
"Enjoyable stay at Kiaat"
Very comfortable accommodation, friendly hosts and good birding.
"Just outside the Kruger - perfect!"
Extremely friendly and hospitable hosts! We were looking to stay in the Kruger for a long weekend at the very last minute and found this lovely rondawel on a farm a mere 10 minutes outside Phabeni gate. The Kruger-like rondawel (actually better equipped) was exactly what we were looking for. We were spoilt with home baked rusks, fresh wood for our fire every evening and even a bag of freshly grown oranges as a departure gift. The rondawel was also serviced every day (dishes washed, etc.), which just made our stay that much more convenient. At night, we were delighted with beautiful bush sounds, which made it just that much more special. We went for a walk on the farm, through their orange orchard down to the Sabie river bank, where we were met with the sounds from their resident hippo, which we luckily could only hear and not see :-)All and all a perfect place, just a few minutes outside the Kruger!
