Reviews for Magalies Sleepy River Caravan Park
Nice and tranquil. Beautiful nature. Good for a weekend away
Beautiful, quiet, loads of birds and affordable. Clean ablutions available. I was impressed!
We visited during the long weekend of September 2018. It's a beautiful site but be prepared that no stands are marked for camping. Electricity and water points are available depending where one choose to set up camp will determine the distance from these points. The site is still under development but is clean and ablution are kept neat and tidy.Security is good as gates are kept close and a roaming security guard ensure it stays like that.We enjoyed our stay and will return in the future. The owners and workers are friendly and very helpful.Overall good value for money.
Great hospitality and well kept sites. Need more braais and power points for more stars. Pool is also great.
Lovely setting old but well kept ablutions. Will go camping there soon
Awesome getaway and you can choose any stand to your liking. Pity there is no camp sites available at the beautiful river. The tranquil running waters are so tranquil. Bathrooms are clean and neat but needs an upgrade. Monkeys are friendly but learn to put your food away.
A lovely, peaceful place for camping. Dog friendly (there are also 2 big dogs op the premises) with a quaint bar and outside entertainment area near the pool.
We went here as apart of the Reef steamers group. Honestly didn't really get to see much besides the pool and the little area setup by the entrance. My son had fun in the pool area, but otherwise there's very little seating or shade area
Lovely shaded campsites. There are sites close to ablutions and pool and then others close to the river which are more secluded. The pool is great especially for kids with slide and mini super tube! The management is friendly and helpful. The breakfast run motorcycles are noisy on Sunday morning but that's an issue for all places in this vicinity.
"Baie lekker en rustig!!!"
Kom weer terug!
