Reviews for Namaqua Lodge
The rooms are clean and their food delicious
Real value for money food great far better than Red Ox. i will surely come back
Bed bed on our tour. Old amenities and furniture. Very expensive food!
Pretty much closed and no service offered on a Sunday
Highly recommended country hotel, with genuine, good old fashioned friendly hospitality. The rooms are clean and modern, and the staff are completely up to date on all local activities. What a difference a family owned business can make! Excellent. Five Stars.
One has to appreciate West Coast hospitality. Staff are warm and friendly. Rooms are comfortable, but some attention could be given to cleaning in certain areas. There is WiFi, but does not seem to work properly.
Nice peaceful and friendly place... Had a awesome time.. Thanks everyone
We (and all other guests) had to endure a bitter cold shower on a cold winter's morning. We were offered an apology. Upon insistence the manager was called and he offered a discount. The manager himself is a rather unsociable fellow. No apology or "good morning".
A wonderful, friendly and ultra-affordable place for a stopover, few relaxing days or base for Namaque Tours!
Your home away from home. Best priced accommodation, friendly staff, warm home away from home feeling.
Good place for a pitstop. Nice bar with a good selection of wine, beer and other beverages. The rooms are very tidy. Free wifi. Did not work in our room but perfectly in the bar. Enjoyed the time at the bar. Parking is secure. Easy to get out in the morning. Unfortunately we were too late for dinner and we had to leave before breakfast.
Is the best and friendly place to stay. Thanks Jenny and your staff. John Paskin.
The best steak in Namakwaland! Kind and friendly sevice. A true home away from home.
I can truly recommend this lodge as a stay-over on your way to the Northen Cape or Namibia. It was an extremely hot day on the 21st of December 2012 and I was very grateful for the air conditioner in my room which worked perfectly well as was the hair dryer and coffee/tea facilities. The linen was fresh, the mattress comfortable, the shower hot, the pool crystal clear and the beer ice cold. Mike, the very friendly young man at reception was most helpful assisting me with my Kobo and offered a fresh pot of coffee on arrival. It was the 1st time that I was charged for safe parking, but I did not mind, because my car was packed.
"Not value for money"
The room was not supplied with things like water, coffees and teas, toilet soap. Toilet was not fixed even though we pointed out the problem - we were told just not to flush it during the night. Food not great and waitress uninformed about items on menu.
