Reviews for Palmwag Tzaneen
Beautiful view and birds to watch. Nice atmosphere for a friendly gathering for dinner while the owner braai. No dstv. Some rooms don't have a tv. Wifi signal is strong.
Thanks for the nice stay. The braai and breakfast was great, thanks Henk.
Made me feel so welcome after a long journey from Cape Town. Would definitely like to return one day. Will definitely recommend it to associates - great stuff owners and thanks once again
the hospitality wa great we felt very welcomed the host are very friendly with warm hearts
Such a special place run by a young couple that really go out of their way for their guests. Keep it up guys
I enjoyed my stay
Great guesthouse. Henk really makes you feel at home. He cooks the most amazing dinners and breakfasts. Spectacular views over the dam and can take a swim the po.
Upon arrival - (after 6hours on the road) we arrived at Palmwag where we found out that our family room that we booked and paid for were given to another family. No appologies, we were told to wait outside so they can get a room reddy for us.The room: an old lapa converted into partly a family room and partly a kitchen. You could see the conversion wasn't done by professional people. There was no door infront of bathroom and shower. Shower didn't work propetly - very low water pressure if any. The tile made a hollow sound if you walk on it, some toles were loose. Only one electricity point, with overloaded connection power plug.Cleaniness: spiderwebs and dust everywhere. Miniature dustbin in room.No television in room, even though we were told we will get one in our room.Service, there were no service. The pictures on the website is misleading, this place is a total ripoff. Building inspectors would have never approved such a construction/concoction?
So far so good
What a nice stunning stay friendly
Great place to stay. Nice and peaceful
Really does make you feel like you're away from the noise of city life! Serene and pleasant. My room was very cozy and I was very well received. I would definitely recommend.
Absolutely splendid place to spend a couple of nights. Henk (the owner) happens to also be a great cook and host. He recommended some excellent things to do in the neighborhood.
