Reviews for Pearson Park Resort
Terrible service received from staff, waiting 2 weeks for refunds.
Nice and cleen!!
Loved our time there, the Sunday's River is super and the location lovely with private camp sitea, sheltered beautifully from the wind. Ablutions are a little dated and some of the taps weren't working properly but the rest of the facilities were super!
"It was nearby the Addo Elephant Park"
We did not like the noise of the traffic of the Resort next to the N2. It was otherwise quiet and neat and enough trees for shade and wind.
Place is now being well looked after. And is a pleasure to visit
Booked the little hut for a few days. The hut (container) could sleep 4 people - a double bed and a sleeper couch. No plumbing facilities- use ablution. Supplies crockery- cutlery - 2 plate stove - microwave- fridge - toaster - kettle. Was sufficient for us as we were on a fishing trip.Good fishing. Showers were always hot considering the number of people that were on camp.
I booked based on what i saw on the website, which is not a true representation of the resort. In short, it was untidy, staff was unfriendly. The cabin reeked of smoke, panels had gaps, so the wind d and dust blew right through onto you. Seriously I would never come back nor advise anybody to stay their unless you camp in a tent which would be a better option.
Nice and safely
the surroundings and nature area at the camp is beutiful.Campimg sites are very nice too. Just very disappointing that the river is littered with plastic bottles plastic bags and even old shoes lying on the river side. Maybe the owners should give more attention to that.
