Reviews for Phezulu Safari Park
We have been there recently. The view was amazing. Our chalet was neat, clean and comfortable. There was a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Our stay has been nothing short of total bliss. We are looking forward to going back . Dianne and kevin
Phezulu safari park is a great place to visit. A lot of things to do. Safari rides and the restaurants are a must. There is also Zulu dancing which I didn't see but the drums were electrifying and created a vibe of the Zulu culture. The staff overall was great. It's very pleasant to go to a place where people are happy to host you.
Overall a nice place. Good friendly people. Worth every 100rand spent
Amazing service from the staff at the park. The Zulu dancers and drummers were extremely good at what they do. It was nice learning about traditional Zulu culture at the mock village.Tristans snake show and crocodile feeding were enthralling and left everyone in awe. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about reptiles and conserving the environment. The restaurant was comfortable with ample seating and amazing views. Good specials with an affordable regular menu. Food was good.
The scenery is absolutely stunning. The show and tour very interesting and the game drive was wonderful! The view from the restaurant is also beautiful
Nice preservation and sharing of Zulu culture. Trip into game reserve was awesome----saw many zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, kudu. Nice gift shop and cafe too! We had not enough time to see the crocs, but felt our visit was more than complete! I have some awesome pics, but this site will not allow me to post them!
We went for the game drive, it was awesome. Fun and saw. Lots close up. People said it was even better than the game drive in lost city
What an experience.A true feel of the Zulu culture and world.Travellers and tourists a must to experience. The little 4X4 drive is a view no photo/video can express - there is no justice in the pictures.Fantastic.
We opted for Zulu dancing and cultural experience and tour of the crocodile and snake park. I really enjoyed spending time with the reptiles, they have alligators and nile crocodiles, and the crocodiles are very large. If you are lucky enough, you come on their feeding day, which is once a month. This is perfect for kids, they are given a chance to hold a snake and baby alligator. The cultural experience part of the park , could do with some improvement, I think it might be okay for foreign nationals but if you're a local, you won't be very impressed.
Wonderful surrounds, staff, lodge accommodation is definitely value for money in service and amenities. Their chalets are great for a personal or family get away. Undisturbed by the hustle and bustle of city life. Magnificent and clean pool area. All round great experience :)
Best zulu traditional place i hav been. I loved the experiance
Amazing place to go for a weekend getaway. So much to do like, Zulu dancing, game drive, shop, swim etc. I enjoyed my stay. Though it is quite far from everything, still a good place to rest and be in nature. Very very affordable
A bit of fresh air when you need some. Good entertainment for kids, croc feeding snake petting if that's your thing.... Overall good place to take kid
Good place to see Zulu culture and some wildlife. Lots of crocodiles and some other smaller animals. Situated in the valley of thousand hill, beautiful scenery all around.
Even though we are from Durban the experience was so worth the visit. Breath taking views of the hills. Great food. Friendly staff. Beautiful Zulu dancers. Very brave lady doing the snake demonstration and very large crocodiles. An unforgettable experience
Thank you very much. Sheryl was a lovely, friendly and wonderful hostess. We will come again.
We enjoyed our stay and it was great to hear the drums in the backround while we had a braai and enjoyed the view.
