The venue was very pretty yet I found issues with cleanliness. The toilet in our room was gross, my side table next to the bed was full of coffee stains, the floor in the corners were dusty. These are such small things that can be fixed otherwise I was happy with the location and restaurant.

This is an exciting place with lots to offer. I enjoyed the food, the beautiful scenery full of great views towards the river. I also like the cycling route around and the services provided to cyclists. The staff is fantastic and the place is neat. Mine was a great experience here.

Nice for cyclists, good parking and nice facilities. Get a parking ticket at the office, R50 for 5 visits, which you then use as a voucher at the restaurant or bar. So free parking really.

The place is the Muldersdrift area along the N14. Their hospitality is awesome, it blew me away and would go recommending the place to everyone. They have good facilities even for children, they are one of the best.

Great place to park while cycling in the Cradle. Good coffee and breakfast available with friendly service. Really STRANGE not accepting cash though! Filling in a form to buy a bottle of water... what's that all about?

One of my friends had his wedding at the lodge and I have nothing bad to say about the place. It was wonderful and the staff took good care of us. It is a very beautiful place and their cocktails are lovely.

"Not a great hotel"

Room was booked as we were attending a wedding down the road. It was extremely expensive (maybe jumping on the band-wagon of the various wedding venues in the area creating demand), especially for what we got. The room itself was ok and spacious, but was not very clean, and had a distinctive smell of beer, as though beer has been spilt on the carpet and never cleaned. Actual hotel and breakfast was well below standard and offered no value for money at all. I also didn't see any reason to stay at this hotel unless you attended a wedding nearby and needed accommodation, or had a conference there and were forced to stay at the hotel. I would not recommend this hotelk. It would make sense to spend extra to stay somewherelese, or spend the money on Uber if you are just visiting for a wedding

"The bed"

Lovely big room with large balcony and lovely view. The huge bath and bed was just what we needed to top off our stay.
