Reviews for Sarabi Country Lodge and Guest House
Great place for conferences or just a holiday. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Very well appointed with luxury
Not knowing which hotel I was being sent to, I was not pleasantly surprised as I stumbled into a building consisting of very tacky decor. Thats something I can, however, overlook. The bathroom was covered in dust, shower not working sufficiently, broken bathroom accessories etc. Their just wasnt any care taken into how everything was set up in the room, an oddly organised appliance section. Everything felt grimy to me. The food wasnt the best either, probably some of the worst Ive had. Just like everyone else has mentioned, I too would like to know how on earth this place has a 4 star rating
Its ok. Lots of place for kids to run around
Police National Tennis Championship was held in Benoni and Sarabi Country Lodge housed around 160 guests. Friendly welcome, very neat & tidy, rooms were clean.
Nice & peacefully place to release stress, its a lovely place....
The place is nice an relaxing but the food sucks
Great place to go to for a peace of mind
Furniture looks tired. Carpets were stained.
Not sure how on earth they have 4 stars. Shower doors don't close and showers don't drain. Terrible stench at night. There is a dump the back of the place. Staff only cleaned the dining room at 10am on Saturday. Not worth the money.
We were staying at this lodge with a choir (88 girls) from Cape Town. What an experience!! Except for the stuff that has been broken in the rooms (shower doors, kettles exploding, doors that couldn't close properly) the kitchen and the kitchen staff were terrible. The staff clearly couldn't handle the number of guests!! The girls started to clear their tables by taking all the used dishes to one table, they made their own toast, handed out cups, cutlery, etc.) The glasses on the juice table were plastic. The toilet paper in the rooms are one ply.I am not complaining at all - if somebody can please explain the 4 stars rating, maybe I'll understand this better!!
"Good reasonably priced accommodation"
We were very happy with the accommodation provided and it was really great value for money.
My stay at Sarabi was fantastic
