Skurweberg is part of the old farm Houdenbek, situated in the Roggeveld mountains along the upper Fish River. The farm offers 4x4 routes for all skill levels and enough activities to keep the whole family amused; hiking, mountain biking, swimming in the river, and a small animal farmyard for children.
Skurweberg offers a fully equipped guest house. The house has a kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms and an outside braai area. There is a lovely fireplace in the house, as well as heaters and electric blankets. Guests can also camp on the farm; there is a well-shaded camping area located by the river. Flushing toilets and hot/cold showers are available, as well as a lapa and braai facilities.

A rather scenic 4x4 route. Oh my goodness gracious, those views when one gets to the top are nothing short of spectacular.The map one is given at the start is completely rubbish (Tracks4Africa saved our bacon).As far as the route is concerned, nothing too bad that a Wrangler could not handle - but on saying that there were one or two routes that even I had back out of.All in all - a great time and experience will be had.

Camping facilities is basic. The cabins have everything needed. The trail is an awesome trail that can challenge the most expended drivers. Definitely not a route to take lightly and that requires a bit of off road skill and knowledge.
