Reviews for The Deck On Manning
Good place to stay, value for money, within a walking distance from UKZN Howard college. Will come back again
Beautiful views, clean pool and the location is just perfect
The place is perfect for a sleep and go, but service delivery is very poor, late responses for any requests
Really it was good for me, clean bedding n great service. Can't wait to come back again.
Excellent service and secured parking. Excellent view whilst standing on balcony. Clean rooms with nice breakfast.
No stars. Totally unimpressed. Dirty bedding. A feeling of neglect. A business booking so not of my own choosing. If my check in wasn't so late I would have gone somewhere else. Check in staff apathetic. Never again.
My partner had booked the place 3 days prior to us showing up and even paid the full price for a room. When we showed up to check in the guy at the front was clueless and couldn't find our invoice even though we had a copy of it. Mind you we showed up on time nothing was ready and he was making us later for a concert we had to be at. So we waited up until one family showed up who hasn't even paid yet but they were serviced and he even gave them a tour all whilst ignoring us. So I had to speak up in order to see some action and finally after some while he gave us a room we didn't even book. Was totally a different room than what my partner had been showed before. I was very disappointed. We weren't even offered breakfast let alone made aware of it. I won't be going back. Only the cleaning staff were pleasant.
Severely overpriced, lack of parking, grounds are dirty, eating room is dirty and untidy, noisy guests and staff do nothing about it, dirty curtains, dirty towels, key cards dont work properly, unfriendly staff. This should be an absolute last resort to stay at. Nothing is as advertised.
No Stars from me....worse place i ever seen. Severely overpriced. Not enough parking, dirty grounds, dirty towels, dirty curtains, dirty eating area, dirty deck, unfriendly staff, noisy guests, key cards dont always work. Stay Away!!
Extremely disappointed with the rooms we had booked. Not only were the pictures shown very misleading, the place was not so hygienic .Furthermore, upon arrival we were escorted to sleep at another facility next to the facility advertised. The pool on the main facility was extremely filthy that we had to drive to a nearby beach just to swim.
Nice intimate B&B but no alcohol allowed so if u plan on having fun with couple of deinks. I won't suggest this place
The place has the biggest roaches. They are even in the bathroom. The place is just far from clean; shame you can see that the headboard was once white. A proper stake knife is a novelty there, the only knives available are butter knives . How can I forget the air conditioning unit blowing only hot air. The remote is just for show I guess, because that thing didn't work. Plug points didn't work, TV wouldn't switch on. Ay ngeke, hay bo; uyawazi umdlalo. Umasdade lo owenziwa laphaya.Even laughing out loud is considered too much noise and the "neighbors" call and complain. Who knocks for guests at 5:00 in the morning? There is free WiFi though, so I guess that deserves a star. Otherwise, I would not recommend the place to anyone.
Firstly the pictures are extremely misleading. The rooms look nothing like the ones posted online. Instead of a bright homey feel, its as if youre in a prison. Upon seeing the room I refused it, I definitely wasnt willing to stay at a place with dirty towels. I asked for a refund and didnt receive it. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy! Shoddy, lackluster and a colossal waste of money.
nice and clean. Owners are super kind!
