Reviews for The Hub Boutique Hotel
Good for quick stays in PE (1-2 days max). Has a conference centre and business lounge.
Personally disliked the hotel. The rooms only have the bare minimum in terms of hotel essentials. There are no telephones in the rooms to even phone reception if you have an issue. The breakfast portions are tiny and not too great in taste and they take a while to prepare with not much variety. The WiFi doesn't reach certain rooms and the staff couldn't be bothered to try resolve that.
The Hub boutique is a simple, clean and beautiful place. The staff, especially Tebi at the Reception was really friendly and helpful and the lady at the restaurant. Being the first time in SA and the first hotel I went to it was really nice. Walking distance to Walmer Mall even made it better. Would definitely go back and recommended it to everyone.
Extremely uncontrolled noisiness at night. Request for queen/king bed instead of single not honoured. Unfortunate for an otherwise very clean place.
Beautiful quaint setting. Neat, pleasant and affordable. Tea and coffee in rooms. The dining area leads to a deck and swimming pool. Breakfast is basic. Safe parking.
The place was so beautiful, the room was exceptional, best hotel I have ever been in ###Boutique
Good night's rest. Old TV's and no restaurant on the premises.
Neat rooms. Very practical for quick visits.
No phone in the rooms, no elevators but they do help at the front desk with the luggage. No WI-FI in my room, I had to use it in the public areas. A tiny safebox which was useless. A nice fan above the bed, great location close to the mall, nice big room, reasonable rates, brand new hotel and super clean. Friendly staff, check out is at 10:00 AM which is very early I think. No international TV channels, no towels in my room upon arrival, comfortable bed, small shower but very powerful. A fridge in the room, very quiet on my floor until a family with noisy kids arrived! Breakfast was very limited and greasy, easy check in, the reception is unattended a lot but there is a bell to ring. I think there is a river behind the hotel or some running water which was very calming at night. I was allowed to store my bag for a few hours after checking out. I would come stay here again if I was on PE. Nice hotel.
Super reasonable pricing, good value. Nothing special about the breakfast but wholesome. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Just rooms 1 and 2 are right by the pool but I don't believe a lot of people swim. Didn't find a bar so I assume there isn't one.
Enjoyed our stay at the Hub. The room was comfortable with more than enough space. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings. Will book there again.
"Safe and secure"
I always receive good service. As a woman I feel safe and secure when staying over.
