Reviews for Wild Clover Farm
1st visit stopped there for breakfast this AM whilst on our bike RIDE. Friendly staff food service good enjoyed lovely morning. The area at the back where the craft beer is modern and worth a try.
Flew some FPV, watched some 3d helis (Some good pilots in CPT), tested the bru, had lunch.
Beauitful place, i would have given it 5 stars, but during my stay there was no electricity, i had to have a cold shower and there was no way to charge my phone to contact someone (not a good feeling for a women staying over alone). I still had to pay full price, with nothing more than "well its out of our control" ...that was very disappointing.
Great pizza and nice Sunday chill spot. Kitchen is far too small to cope with the number of pizzas for tables however.
Restaurant service is extremely slow. Setting is good for kids.
Great social place but restaurant sucks and I rated it low for that if it hadn't been for the quality food at the pub and the all the things you can do to have fun it would've been rated 1 star by me Fix this wild clover make the restaurant nice and to not have live performances to be loud we are right next to them The food is horrid and the cover you provide is inadequate. Fix please
The service was truly abysmal. I had to ask FOUR different waiters to take my irder for coffee and a cool drink for my child and it took more than an hour to eventually get it!
There were a few things i could mention which made our stay not so good: The cottage were cracked in several places with the paint coming off. After a 2min shower that night, there were no hot water for my wife. The next morning the water pressure was so low that you had to wait a few min to wash your face. The braai outside needs att. The road to the cottages was a dirt road and after arriving we have to go and look for reception which was not marked properly. I kwow there is a water shortage in Cape Town, but the price we paid were not a reflection of what we got!
Good vibe, live music on some days, beer tasting and tastes good, big TVs for sports and good food menu (snacks to small burgers).
This is a lovely place for kids. Great play area and safe. The kitchen opens at 12:00 and they serve pizza and burgers. The Wild Clover Brewery is situated behind the restaurant and their beers are superb. The restaurant used to sell their beer, but yesterday didn't have any. We had to go buy the beer at the brewery and take it back to the restaurant. We would have stayed at the brewery but the kids wanted to play. I would give the restaurant 5 stars if they start selling the beer again
Beer tasting outside on the veranda followed by a wonderful burger. A most enjoyable experience in a refreshing breeze. The Double Owl Ale is an exceptional beer.
Awesome service by the Floor Manager! She immediately saw our pizza was not up to standard. Replaced the pizza and gave us a free round of drinks. Rarely happens at restaurants nowadays. Well done!
"Watching wild life while having a braai: priceless "
We had a great weekend at The Wild Clover Farm. We did not partake in the activities they had available as we had a full schedule already. I will definitely return. Had a great welcome with a friendly face. The cottage could do with an electrical kettle, boiling water on the gas stove takes quite some time. Other then that we enjoyed the stay, amazing views of the mountains of Stellebosch and wild life right at our door step. Had a nice braai while watching zebras, giraffes and wild bucks. Pure Africa
"Quite disappointed "
This place is over priced and realy not up to standard. We expected so much more. Looks like there's no interest what so ever from the owners. The nicest thing is the neighbors farm with the wild life roaming around for you to see. The tv in the kitchen is a joke. The tiniest little thing I've ever seen in a room. We could not even watch tv. From a distance. Had to pull the couch closer so we could wach tv. I will not stay here again.
