Reviews for Wild Peach Inn
What a awesome Bed and Breakfast. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Neat and clean. And pricing to suite ones pocket. Will surely only stay here when in the area again.
It was a wet weekend in pretoria but the warmth of the staff and particularly Lazarus made up for it!
Good for tight budget no frills experience
Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Good bed and linen. No card facilities and the person at 'reception' was creepy for a night check in.
Not really that nice of a place and the other rooms are no in such good condition... You can get a much better place for the same price.
Very nice. Clean and neat. Friendly staff
It is very affordable and friendly staff. I definitely recommend it
Neat with a Modern Concrete look.Close to Menlyn Maine, Menlyn Park and the N1.Rooms are spacious and extremely neat. They even switched on a heater in our room prior to our arrival.Free Wi-Fi and DSTV.I was in a hurry and didn't get to order breakfast. a Friend however said it was a basic breakfast but delicious. The Gate service is a little slow, so I won't advise you to get out of the car to ring the bell, rather call.
We stayed at Peach Inn on the 19th of May, We where told breakfast will be served between 07h00 and 10h00 the next morning, We got to breakfast at 09h40No one came out of the kitchen and we where told by the other guests that they busy with breakfast, We sat and waited, 09h59 one of the workers, Lazurus came out and didn't greet us, he just looked at us and said "you can't come here at 1 minute to 10h00 and expect breakfast"We explained to him we waited for 20minutes. He ignored us and walked outside and took people who was sitting outside's breakfast order. We phoned the manager or owner about 8 times, he eventually answered and explained to us that we must understand that they very strict because the kitchen staff needs to clean rooms and are obviously in a hurry to get breakfast done and get to the cleaning of rooms. We explained that we weren't late, and we where sitting waiting unattended to.The owner then said he will ask Lazarus to make us breakfast.Lazarus kept ignoring us and assisted guests around us. At 10h30 a lady came out of the kitchen to take our order. We ate at 11h00. No one booked us out, We had to open the gate ourselves and run inside to hand in the remote. It was absolutely horrible and we will never return or recommend this place
Loved the place. Value fot money.
This is a cheap ass lodge. Booking was a major problem and there was no hot water to shower with after a long night out.
Highly over rated. Place is neat and clean, but very old and basic. Definitely not 3 stars and not worth what we paid. No views as advertised and rooms don't look as advertised. No warning that there is a lot of construction going on. No reception desk at all!! Budget toiletpaper, coffee, etc. R250 per person would've been fare and not R740.
Excellent service, rooms are well maintained, staff is very helpe and friendly, breakfast is amazing
Bad Experience. Money Making Game!!!I won't recommend. On arrival, no one opened up for us. We waited for 20minutes and had to book a Town Lodge after being pulled off by Speedies, and and. After discussing with the owner, he refused to refund us, said it was a no-show. The facility is not actively managed by the owner and he is not on-site, which always leads to complications. Slow in response to correspondence and stern in person. Even though we didn't stay over my first impressions while waiting 20 min just to get no response; there was definitely no parking space for me, very unorganized, we felt unsafe in the specific street, outside appearance very disappointing, no name on the outside. I have stayed in Backpackers that looks better on the outside. The place is managed to get quantity not quality, money making is the game.
We will recommend this Inn. Very neat and comfortable. There is a fridge and microwave available in the dining room. Very useful, thanks. Would recommend an air conditioner in the room if possible. Conveniently situated near shopping malls, within easy distance. Will make use of the Inn again.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast but there was a humming noise in the room like a fridge that switch on and off although there was no fridge in the room very irritating.
