Reviews for Woodland Gardens
Tranquil atmosphere, friendly hosts and well priced.
Peaceful area, loved staying at Woodland Gardens. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Very nice pool area and private braai area. Homely with everything you need and a plus for winter with a inside fireplace. Enjoyed our stay, very safe.
Its a beautiful lodge. The log cabin was romantic and cosy but I would have recommended having some extras like mosquito repellent, soap, a heater, since we were told there would be a fire place inside and there wasnt one in our cabin. The oven was not user friendly at all. The actual lodge doesnt have great security but we never felt unsafe but being right on the main road I think they need to have better security. I had a great and memorable stay though. The lodge itself is beautiful although you dont really have a great view of the Magaliesburg Mountains. I would recommend it to couples looking for a quiet romantic weekend away because the actual log cabins are very sweet.
Exploring the garden is an adventure in itself. The owner is very attentive and goes out of his way to accommodate for your every need. I would definitely recommend Woodland Gardens to anyone seeking a romantic getaway, or a quiet escape from the city.
excellent get-away stay in a quiet environment. Pool on site and only a few units ensures a quiet stay. Massage services available. Animal friendly establishment.
Had a lovely stay at Woodland Gardens would definitely recommend the Lodge. Relaxing environment and great for pets.
Peaceful and quiet. If you need to get in touch with your inner self this is the place to go. Personal welcoming and attention from Joe and the cleaning staff. You don't see them, but when you return to your cottage after a stroll everything is spotless!!
Lovely setting, relaxing time! Good welcome and service. Loved the sound of water, the sounds of the forest and birds, the homely atmosphere, the dogs running around. Enjoyed having Patches keeping us company and joining us on our walks - our personal tour guide! Stunning pool area. Unit was neat, tidy and comfortable. One suggestion: re-think the use of space in the kitchen, i.e. bigger fridge needed (didn't have enough space for the food we brought for a three-night stay) and install some cupboards for the crockery (those baskets were not easy to use with glasses and such in them) and for space for guests to store food items.
The place was absolutely fantastic, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for a wonderful, peaceful, neat and clean place, it's just what we needed.
